The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ said:&nbsp;“The best charity is giving water to drink, and he was the most generous in giving charity.”&nbsp;(Hadith Ahmad) £20 – provide one person with access to clean water, solar lighting, and handwashing points in Somalia.£96 - Provide clean water 20 people in Gaza for a month. That’s 4 families with clean water throughout Ramadan.£880 – Install a deep water well in a drought-hit community, helping to transform a village of 105 people in Pakistan or Bangladesh Not only is it a Sadaqah Jariyah, but you’re also empowering communities facing water scarcity to develop and grow.£3,500 – Help us to rehabilitate a water centre for an entire community in Yemen. Around half the world’s population is experiencing severe water scarcity with some areas lacking access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) almost all year round. Every year, 3.5 million die each year from water-related illness, 1 in 5 children is without clean drinking water, and at least 10 percent of global migration is linked to water stress as the world faces the devastating effects of climate change. According to a recent World Health Organisation report, providing access to water, sanitation and hygiene could save 1.4 million lives every year. We must act now to save precious lives.
