Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul&nbsp;Hijjah, many Muslims perform their religious obligation and go on a pilgrimage to Mecca. This is a spiritual time of year, and one where we also give charity and donate Qurbani. Traditionally, it is an obligation upon every Muslim that can afford it to give Qurbani. Qurbani/Udhiya&nbsp;during Eid-ul-Adha is an act to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son,&nbsp;Ismail,&nbsp;for the sake of God, as mentioned in the Quran. When our messenger Muhammad (PBUH) was asked what Qurbani is, he answered, “it is&nbsp;the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim. For every hair of the&nbsp;Qurbani&nbsp;you receive a reward from Allah” (Al-Tirmidhi).
