Throughout the war, an average of&nbsp;10&nbsp;children a day lost a limb and more than 38,000 children have been orphaned or have no adult left to care for them. Orphans in Gaza are facing the added brutality of struggling for food and shelter, often while looking after younger siblings. The children of Palestine have endured months of famine-like conditions.&nbsp;60,000&nbsp;children need treatment for acute malnutrition, and the effects of malnourishment in childhood will continue to have effects on their lives and health for years to come.
